The tip mount (chape) from a fine and noble dagger/scabbard. Bronze, 1 ¾” length of rounded section, set with three stones of descending size and relief decorated in characteristic Renaissance motifs throughout. The back with chip out, also decorated. Detail well preserved with green/brown patina.
