This bag is the perfect size for carrying wallet, cell phone, cosmetic items and keys. With the added shoulder straps, it’s great for daily use.
The pattern includes a front pocket and interior slip pocket, which really adds the functionality of the bag. We have attached the rectangle rings on the straps to make the bag look more stylish while you simply sew the straight straps without the rings, alternatively, you can extend the length of the straps to make a cross-body bag.
You can use either home décor or quilting weight cotton fabric.
This pattern is suitable for an intermediate sewer. The tutorial includes 100 colour photos and the patterns pieces are full size.

- 1 Fat Quarter of patterned fabric for the exterior ( 22 x 18 inch / 56 x 45.5cm )
- 1 Fat Quarter of quilting fabric for the interior ( 22 x 18 inch / 56 x 45.5cm )
- 1 Fat Eighth of Patterned fabric for the pocket (11 x 18 inch / 28 x 45.5cm)
- 1/2 Yard fabric in solid color for the straps
OTHER SUPPLIES
- 1 Fat Quarter of single-sided fusible fleece, mid-weight interfacing
- 1 tube of permanent glue/ adhesive (such as UHU, Guttermann HT2)
- All purpose sewing thread
TOOLS
- Sewing machine
- Iron and iron board
