This is a fine example of the original Corgi Ford Consul model 200, first issued at the launch of the range in a single colour and then re-issued in two-tone finish in 1959. The colours are a quite bright green below what is often described as oyster but which looks more off-white to me.

This is a superb model and it is hard to find any faults with it - just a chip on a rear wing and on the front bumper. It is otherwise superb and the windows are fresh and crustal clear with bright wheels and what I believe are original tyres too.

The is some surface rust on the base which ought to clean off fairly easily.

You will not find many this good.
